Ashvini has over 25 years of experience in television & films – she spent her initial years with ZEE TV and contributed to shows such as Saat Phere, Sailaab, Kasamh Se, Sarrkar, Teen Bahuraaniyaan, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyaan, Banegi Apni Baat, among several others. She took sa re ga ma pa to another level by conceptualizing t Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge and Lil’ Champs before leaving to start Colors.
Ashvini was responsible for launching one of India’s premium brand COLORS as the Programming Head. Ashvini focused on creating a differentiated content such as Uttaran, Balika Vadhu, Laado and was instrumental in introducing reality shows like Bigg Boss, India’s Got Talent and Khatron Ke Khiladi which took the new channel zooming to the No 1 spot in a short span of 9 months.
With a rich and varied experience in programming and related areas, she co-founded Grazing Goat Pictures along with Mr. Akshay Kumar. Where she produced the cult Bollywood classic film OMG! Oh My God.
She is now the founder of Viniyard Films, which has produced successful shows for some of India’s biggest GEC like Star Plus, Zee TV & SAB TV. Viniyard Films will be coming up with many more TV content, Films & Web Series. Viniyard Films has also now expanded into Celebrity Management.
